Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Some of you were asking for a chocolate glaze recipe. This is my favourite glaze. I specially like to use it on the Kuglof cake.  It's easy, fast, looks and tastes delicious and when it's time to cut the cake, it slices nicely without crumbling or braking away. So, here it is; the satiny chocolate glaze.

Have fun!

The recipe covers a kuglof cake. If you plan to glaze a larger cake you might want to double or even triple the recipe so you have enough for the size of cake you're glazing.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp. milk, 2%
4 oz.(125 gr.) dark chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp.  butter, unsalted

Directions:
Add milk to a saucepan and place over low heat, add the chopped chocolate and stir until chocolate has melted.

Remove from heat and add butter; stir until all melted into a smooth glaze.

Pour over kuglof cake and let freely flow down on the sides of cake. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Sprinkle nuts on top if desired.

Set aside for glaze to harden before serving.

Happy Glazing! Smile
