Mocha Frappuccino

Now that the hot days of summer have finally arrived, it feels good sometimes to indulge with a glass of iced coffee like this mocha Frappuccino.

If you like Frappuccino, save a trip to the coffee shop (and your money) and make your own,  at home with a few ingredients and a blender.

Cafe Frappe

I don’t like things sweet so you may want to increase the amount of sugar for added sweetness.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup brewed coffee, chilled

1/4 cup, 2% milk

1 tsp. sugar,

2 tsp. vanilla coffee syrup

2 tsp. hot chocolate mix

1 cup + extra ice cubes for thickness

Whipped cream for topping

Directions:

In a blender, combine the coffee, milk, sugar, vanilla coffee syrup and ice cubes. Cover and process until smooth. Add more ice, one at a time until desired thickness is reached.
